Fuse Project recently concluded its first-ever summer camp, leaving behind a trail of delighted kids and enriched minds. The camp's primary goal was to combat summer learning loss and provide engaging hands-on STEAM learning experiences for students from K4 to Fifth Grade. Thirty eager learners dove into literacy, math, science, and art, creating unforgettable memories along the way.

Read MoreIn May of this year, Order of Fuse awarded another $25,000 grant to The Historic Avenue Foundation ABC Program to provide academic support to three schools in the Avenue community - Florence Howard Elementary, Calloway-Smith Middle, and Pathway K-5. This academic support will include funding for learning incentives, the continuation of school clubs (Linking Learning to Life Clubs), and teacher appreciation.

This diverse group of young professionals is comprised of movers, shakers, and difference makers in our city. We host a series of social events throughout the year for members to get to know each other. As a bonus, at the end of the year, their remaining dues are distributed to community organizations of their choosing through a competitive grant process. This year’s grant will be awarded at our upcoming Spring Soirèe on Sunday, May 15.
