ABC Academic Support Program
Throughout the school year, we continue bridging educational disparities for teachers and students in three Mobile County Public Schools located in the Avenue - Florence Howard Elementary, Calloway-Smith Middle School, and Pathway K-5. We help provide supplemental resources such as academic and extracurricular clubs, student incentives, and teacher appreciation events.
SPARK Summer Camp
Our 4th annual summer camp serving nearly 200 students with six weeks of engaging STEAM activities, including electrifying science demos, water safety lessons, and expressive movement workshops.

Fuse Project’s annual fundraising campaign, Light the Fuse, seeks to engage the community and raise awareness of our mission through a series of public and private events, a fundraising challenge, and more.
At Fuse Project, we know you want to live in a thriving community. The problem is, systems meant to support children are fragmented, leaving communities disconnected and unsure how to make an impact.
We believe ZIP codes shouldn’t determine outcomes, and creating lasting change requires earned trust. That’s why we listen first and consistently show up for our community.

Fuse is on a mission to ensure neighborhoods thrive and every child has an opportunity to succeed.
We know that poverty, and the crushing lack of opportunity associated with it, is an intergenerational phenomenon impacting far too many Mobilians. Fuse Project, in partnership with The Historic Avenue Foundation, is on a mission to close the opportunity gap for children in our community, but we cannot do it without YOU. Working together with community members, our goal is to innovatively meet the needs of the community, catalyze transformational change, and break the cycle of generational poverty. Not only does this improve well-being and quality of life for neighborhood residents, it also impacts far beyond the property lines to provide upward economic mobility for the neighborhood.
You can help us Light the Fuse by partnering with us for a fundraising event, attending a fundraising event throughout the year (see our Events tab), or becoming a sponsor or Friend of Fuse (annual partner program). Donations can be made by check, online, and via stock transfer. *Pro Tip* donations made in someone's honor make an excellent gift. We have big goals for 2026 and you are the fuel to make it all happen!
