Oyster Revel 2026: Celebrating Gulf Coast Flavor While Giving Back
On May 17, a beautiful Sunday afternoon, hundreds of guests gathered beneath the oaks at Fort Condé Inn for the second annual Oyster Revel — an unforgettable celebration of Gulf Coast cuisine, community, and coastal culture benefiting Fuse Project. Hosted by The Scout Guide Mobile Bay, the event brought together local chefs, oyster farmers, sponsors, and supporters for an afternoon filled with incredible food, live music, and a shared commitment to making a difference for children across South Alabama.
Set against the charming backdrop and cobblestone streets of downtown Mobile’s historic Fort Condé Inn, Oyster Revel blended elevated coastal style with the relaxed spirit of a Gulf Coast gathering. Guests embraced the event’s “Coastal Chic” atmosphere while enjoying fresh Gulf oysters, specialty cocktails, wine, and thoughtfully curated culinary pairings from some of the area’s most beloved restaurants and chefs.
Throughout the afternoon, guests sampled freshly shucked oysters from renowned Gulf Coast oyster companies including Murder Point Oyster Company, Isle Dauphine Oyster Company, Admiral Shellfish Company, New Reef Oysters, and Holy Ground Oysters. Each oyster experience was paired with creative small plates and accompaniments prepared by standout local culinary partners including The Noble South, The Wash House, Bay Gourmet, Morrissette Catering, Bistro St. Emanuel, The Hummingbird Way, Slurp Society, Follies, and Bays to Bayous.
Guests also enjoyed live music and beautifully designed event spaces transformed by Port City Rentals and Revelry Bloom. The event’s relaxed yet polished atmosphere created the perfect setting for guests to connect, celebrate local culture, and support a meaningful cause.
Excitement for Oyster Revel extended well beyond the event itself. In the weeks leading up to the celebration, organizers had the opportunity to share the event and its impact through appearances on both FOX10 and WKRG, helping raise awareness about the event’s support of Fuse Project and the importance of investing in programs that expand opportunities for local children.

Most importantly, Oyster Revel helped raise support for Fuse Project’s SPARK Summer Camp program, which works to expand access to education, wellness, and community resources for local children. Funds raised from the event will support the 2026 SPARK Summer Camp focused on literacy and math while connecting students with hands-on learning experiences, enrichment activities, and community partnerships designed to help prevent summer learning loss.
The event also highlighted the power of local collaboration and community investment. Oyster Revel was presented in partnership with Oyster Orthodontics, whose commitment to supporting local families and organizations helped make the event possible. The partnership was especially meaningful for Fuse Project, as Oyster Orthodontics co-owner, Dr. Steven Oliver, is also an active Order of Fuse member and longtime supporter of the organization’s mission to create opportunities for local children.
Founded in Mobile, Oyster Orthodontics is dedicated to creating confident smiles through thoughtful, personalized orthodontic care for patients of all ages. Known for their welcoming approach and commitment to excellence, their team has become a trusted part of the Mobile Bay community both inside and outside the office. Giving back locally is an important part of who they are, and we’re grateful to have them partnering with The Scout Guide in support of Fuse Project.
Following the event, The Scout Guide Mobile Bay and Oyster Ortho proudly presented Fuse Project with a $7,000 donation representing a portion of proceeds raised through Oyster Revel. This generous contribution will help support SPARK Summer Camp and further Fuse Project’s efforts to expand access to education, wellness, and opportunity for children across our community.
From the oysters and cocktails to the laughter, conversation, and shared sense of purpose, Oyster Revel captured everything that makes the Gulf Coast community so special. More than just a culinary event, the afternoon served as a reminder of what can happen when local businesses, chefs, creatives, and community members come together in support of children and families across Mobile Bay.
Fuse Project extends sincere gratitude to The Scout Guide Mobile Bay, every participating chef and oyster purveyor, event sponsors, volunteers, and all who attended and supported this year’s Oyster Revel. Your generosity and partnership help continue the work of creating opportunities for children across South Alabama, because every child deserves an opportunity to succeed, regardless of their ZIP code.
