Order of Fuse: Spring 2021

Fuse Project’s member organization, Order of Fuse, is a social, professional, networking group with a mission to also give back to the community while having fun and making meaningful connections. This diverse group of young professionals is comprised of movers, shakers, and difference makers in our city. We host a series of social events throughout the year for members to get to know each other. As a bonus, at the end of the year, their remaining dues are distributed to community organizations of their choosing through a competitive grant process. This year’s grant will be awarded at our upcoming Spring Soirèe on Sunday, May 15.

Fat Fuse Day

Order of Fuse had such a blast celebrating Mardi Gras together at our Fat Fuse Day celebration in February on the deck at Moe’s Original BBQ in downtown Mobile for the Crewe of Columbus parade. We had delicious BBQ and libations, music, and face painting!

Coffee with Mayor Stimpson

On St. Patrick’s Day, Order of Fuse was able to meet with Mobile’s Mayor Stimpson at Serda’s Coffee to discuss some of the transformation projects that are already underway in Mobile, including the City’s efforts to expand attainable housing, relocating Mobile’s passenger airport terminal, the Mobile River Bridge Project, and the Brookley by the Bay waterfront park. We really enjoyed this intimate opportunity to connect with our City’s leader and discuss with him directly the issues of most concern to us and our organization.

Crawfish Social

We had a blast at our April Order of Fuse event which was a crawfish social! We had gorgeous weather at The Ice Box bar and delicious crawfish from Azalea Seafood and Gumbo Shoppe & Catering, compliments of Dean Waite & Associates, LLC. It was the perfect way to socialize and celebrate spring while networking with this diverse group of young professionals.
